• Pay Grade: Starting pay 2015 General Pay Scale Grade 6 Step 1 ($36,612), after accreditation, pay increase to Grade 7 Step 1 ($40,685)
• If accredited by ODVS, salary will be based upon experience

Job Description:

Advise and assist persons in the Armed Forces of the United States of America, veterans, spouses, surviving spouses, dependent children and dependent parents in presenting claims or obtaining rights or benefits under the Department of Veterans Affairs, Department of Defense, and State Law of the United States of America or the State of Ohio. Analyze, investigate and process applications for emergency financial assistance from persons in the Armed Forces of the United States of America, veterans, spouses, surviving spouses, dependent children and dependent parents in accordance with Ohio Revised Code (ORC) 5901 and within the Clermont County Veterans’ Service Commission Emergency Financial Assistance Policy. The Veteran Service Officer shall also work in conjunction with other local, county, state and federal agencies in assisting the client with their needs.

Representative Duties and Responsibilities:

*Advises Veterans of eligible benefits to include compensation, pension, health care, education, and any ancillary programs. Prepares/routes all related forms to the proper jurisdiction for adjudication
*Confers and advises the Veteran of all rights under the Soldiers and Sailors “Civil Relief Act.”
*Advises and refers Veterans regarding Ohio Veterans Homes. Obtaining discharge and DD-214 forms, medals, grave marker requests and transportation availability for Veterans to and from VA associated medical appointments
*Interview clients requesting emergency financial assistance; analyze need, complete appropriate documentation, enter data into the computer and take action within the CCVSC guidelines
*Participate in Veterans Outreach Efforts that include some outside community involvement
*Cross training in additional related positions is a continually ongoing requirement

Major Employee Characteristics

Required Attributes:

*Veterans Status as defined in Title 5901 of the Ohio Revised Code
*Ability to handle complex problems
*Demonstrate communication skills both written and oral
*Proficient in Microsoft Office, including but not limited to Word, Excel and Outlook.
*Knowledge of Windows based personal computer environment
*Minimum 30 words per minute typing skills
*Must be able to maintain effective working relationship with supervisors, associates, other agencies and the public
*Knowledge of CCVSC office practices and procedures
*Public speaking

Minimum Qualifications:

*MUST be an HONORABLY discharged Veteran of the United States Military as defined by Ohio Revised Code section 5901.
*MUST also provide a member 2 or 4 copy of his/her DD-214 for each period of active service with the application for employment.

Physical Requirements:

Much of the work is accomplished while sitting with intermittent walking. Minimal lifting may be required while setting up Outreach Events.

Job Description:

Job Summary:

The person hired for the position of Packer will be Responsible for packing finished products on pallets as specified orders, cutting cores for production, monitoring and emptying all trash containers in production.

 Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Load finished rolls or sheeted materials onto pallets, bag, box, band, wrap, label, weigh and prepare pallets for shipping per order and MDI instructions.  If customer specification cannot be met, supervisor must be notified.
  • Assure quality and consistency in material finishing and packaging. Maintain product quality standards.
  • Complete Core Cutter qualification and appropriately identify and cut cores for slitter orders per MDI instructions.
  • Use computer programs such as PMCS, ELC and MDI to perform daily operations.
  • Monitor and empty department trash into the compactor.
  • Maintain and promote good daily housekeeping effort.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Working a necessary level of overtime is required to support the business needs.

This position will require:

  • Weekend work (as needed)
  • Working overtime
  • Working 1st shift

This position may require:

  • Working on holidays as needed
  • Short notice shift coverage
  • Physical Demands, including:
    •  i.e.: occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.

The Marketing Communications Supervisor – FiberTite Roofing Division (FTR) manages marketing and corporate communications related to products and services within FTR.  It creates the overall Marketing Communications Plan via collaboration with FTR Product Management, Regional Sales managers and the VP GM FTR.
 
Key responsibilities for this position include:
 
Creating and monitoring annual Marketing Communications expense budget.
 
Execution of FiberTite Marketing Communications Plan:
  • Collaborating in a matrix supervisor role with Marketing department associates while maintaining strong communications with the Marketing Communications Supervisor of the Industrial Fabrics Division, who will serve as their direct report.

  • Manage trade show activity and budgeting including identification and event management. 
 
Management of Digital Resources:
  • Optimize FTR SEO results via partnership with Business Segment Leaders/Product Managers to identify search terms
  • Work with third-party and internal resources to optimize web page(s) and other digital content to achieve improved SEO results.
  • Monitor and report key performance indicators such as site visits, bounce rate, Google search rank, Leads (Sales Qualified and Marketing Qualified), and other indicators of digital marketing effectiveness.

Regulated Commodity Sourcing is an innovative team that manages regulated power supply and renewable energy credits, and creates value added tools and products for the benefit of our customers and shareholders while supporting and enriching our communities.

The position is in either the Pottsville Pike Building in Reading, Pennsylvania or the West Akron Campus in Fairlawn, Ohio.

Senior Business Analysts, in Regulated Commodity Sourcing (RCS), daily activities include:

  • Leading projects in RCS that create value added tools and products
  • Developing the Locational Marginal Price (LMP) and territorial load forecasts for FirstEnergy Utilities (FEU) using Nostradamus (an artificial neural network) forecasting tool, and performing Nostradamus model maintenance and improvements
  • Overseeing and analyzing wholesale budget and financial forecasting data for FEU, and comparison of deviations between forecasted and actual data
  • Conducting in-depth strategic research and analyzing data; interpreting results; providing solutions
  • Managing renewable activity including development of position tracking reports, performing or supporting the associated billing and invoicing processes for FEU, and tracking and retiring Renewable Energy Credit (REC) transactions, consistent with state renewable portfolio standard requirements.
  • Supporting on-time completion of FEU procurement activities in accordance with the respective solicitation calendars, including tracking and documentation
  • Performing required updates to the FEU Utility Power and Renewable Procurement web sites
